Unity3D Meta and Cache Files can be deleted.

Unity creates a lot of meta and cache files in the project folder which I found out are not necessary when checking into GitHub or other source control. Finally found the documentation stating that they are created when Unity opens the project and you can easily delete the Library folder when saving. This folder can sometimes grow to several gigabytes depending on how many assets you import into your project. Source control is essential when working on big Unity projects but it is important to only check in the necessary files and not the extra files. This will make your repositories as small as possible and easier to manage.
